The Service Bureau Operations is manned by our well trained staff of mainframe computer operators, data control clerks and key data operators. In addition to our personnel, the operations department is highlighted by our IBM T-server and its peripherals, including a Xerox DocuTech 128 Hi-Lite color laser printing system with 600 dpi quality at 128 pages per minute and a Xerox 4635 black and white laser printing system with 135 pages per minute capability.

    Our computer operations department is staffed 24 hours a day to optimize turnaround on all processing. Our data control section is well versed in file transferring using peer personal computer connections and E-mail or file transfer points (ftp) by way of the internet. Finally our key section uses state of the art server based key data hardware and software, guaranteeing the integrity and accuracy of the keyed data.

This combination of dedicated personnel and state of the art systems allows Southwest Computer Bureau Inc. to render statements for a variety of different business sectors. We also perform more traditional service bureau functions such as file hosting and access, data entry, remittance processing, and most types of file transfers.
